3 hour workshop including the birthing person and their partner or support person. This interactive workshop is designed to educate and empower the partner to be supportive and helpful during labor, while also deeply connecting to their partner and their baby throughout the process. Together you will learn:

- Labor comfort measures and supportive positions for any way you birth your child, whether that is unmedicated, with an epidural, or via Cesarean section.

- Massage techniques to stay connected throughout labor, relax and relieve tension, and encourage contractions.

- Ways to support both partners in connecting to their baby and to each other during labor, birth, and the fourth trimester.

Expect to be up and moving around for a hands-on, kinesthetic experience. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring one yoga mat and one birth/exercise ball per couple.

This 90 minute private appointment focuses on how partners can be an active part of lactation and bonding. Often overlooked during pregnancy, the early weeks of newborn life can have a huge impact on your relationship. Learn ways to stay connected and committed as a team while navigating postpartum healing, infant feeding, and family bonding.

This visit can take place virtually or at the Together Birth & Body office in Redwood City.
